The Academy for Biblical Storytelling

The Academy for Biblical Storytelling offers in-depth work to become a Certified and Master Certified Biblical Storyteller. These two certifications programs are each offered every other year, not concurrently. 2011 is a Master-Level year and is available only to those invited from within the ABS Certified Biblical Storyteller community. 2012 will be an ABS Certified Biblical Storyteller year. Applications can be submitted in the fall of 2011 for the 2012 certification program. A basic requirement for the Certified Biblical Storyteller program that must be met before you apply to the program is that you have attended at least one Festival Gathering before your application is received. Since this program is offered every other year you have two opportunities to do this. Both programs require attendance at the Festival Gathering the year you are in the program but that year does not count as the required attendance prior to admission.
