2010 Festival Gathering Scholarship Application

To facilitate the mission of the Network, a Festival Gathering Scholarship Fund has been established in order to provide monetary support to those who are annually identified as being needful of that support, with preference being given to young adults, ages 18 to 35 years, first timers; young adults, ages 18 to 35 years, not first timers; and international leaders of biblical storytelling.

1. Application forms will be distributed by the NBS office and available on the web.

2. Completed applications must be received in the NBS office by March 15, 2010 in order to be considered for the Aug. 11 – 14, 2010 Festival Gathering.

3. Applications must be submitted annually.

4. The applications will be reviewed and the sponsorships awarded by a Sponsorship Selection Committee of no fewer than two members, both to be members of the Board of Directors and to be appointed by the president of the Board annually.

5. The sponsorships may be partial or full and are for Festival Gathering expenses. They do not include travel expenses.

6. The selection determination will be announced by the Committee and the recipients notified on or before April 1, 2010.
