Ridgecrest is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just minutes from Asheville, North Carolina.

PLEASE ALLOW 1 HOUR TO AND FROM TRAVEL TIME WHEN BOOKING YOUR FLIGHT AT THE ASHEVILLE AIRPORT.
Asheville Regional Airport is the closest airport, and is serviced by several carriers including Continental Express, Delta Connection, Carriers ASA and COMAIR, Northwest, US Airways, and US Express. For more information, contact your local travel agent or visit www.ashevilleregionalairport.com.

Because the drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains is so beautiful, many of our attendees enjoy driving or flying into airports in Charlotte, NC, Greensboro, NC or Knoxville, TN and driving the short remaining distance by car. This oftentimes is a more economical option as well as these larger airports generally offer discounted rates through the larger carriers such as Northwest, Delta, United, American, US Air and Continental.

Rental Car: Several car rental agencies are available at the Asheville Airport including Avis, Budget, Hertz and National.

To get from the airport to Ridgecrest:

Those who are flying into Asheville Airport can call either Special Occasions Limousine or BlackMountain Cab Company. Tell them your itinerary and they will coordinate transportation to put as many people as possible together in order to save you money. If you do want to save money you may have to wait for others to arrive before you are taken to Ridgecrest. Be sure to call as soon as you make your flight arrangements. They need time to coordinate things.

If you are flying into Charlotte, NC or Greensboro, NC call Special Occasions and they will bring you to Ridgecrest and again they will coordinate with others to get you there as cheaply as possible. Call them as soon as you have made your flight arrangements to give them the most time to coordinate as many as possible in one car. Black Mountain Cab Co. does not go to any airport but Asheville.

If you choose to use Black Mountain Cab Co. or Special Occasions Limo, please tell them that you are with the Network of Biblical Storytellers so they can coordinate your transportation with other Festival Gathering attendees.
